Part 1
Kumon: Woah, it's raining hard!
Muku: But the weather forecast yesterday said it would be sunny....
Misumi: But there'll definitely be another chance!
Izumi: (Huh, it's Summer Troupe. But they seem to be a bit down....)
Izumi: What's wrong?
Muku: Ah, Director-san.
Muku: We had planned to go to the zoo today, but the rain meant we had to cancel.
Izumi: I see. The weather is pretty unpredictable this time of year.
Kazunari: Hey hey, look at this, guys!
Yuki: That's the social media page of the zoo we were planning to go to, right?
Misumi: Huh? What is it, what is it~!
Kumon: They made a post: "Yesterday, our lion Lionel welcomed his new wife!"
Tenma: Wow, congrats.
Izumi: Lionel... is that the one we met the last time we went to the zoo together?1
Muku: Yes, that Lionel-san. What wonderful news!
Kazunari: Not only that, but it seems like they'll be holding a wedding ceremony at the zoo.
Kazunari: Why don't we all try to go again for Lionel's wedding?
Kumon: Ooh, good idea!
Misumi: I'm in~!
Yuki: It's not everyday you get the chance to see a lion wedding.
Tenma: I'll make sure my schedule is clear for that day.
Izumi: If it's alright, could I come along too? I want to see if I could meet Lionel's wife.
Muku: Of course! Let's all go together!
Kazunari: Then it's decided! Let's celebrate with Lionel~!

Muku: It's raining today, too.... I'm worried. Tomorrow is Lionel-kun's wedding.
Yuki: It's the rainy season, so it can't be helped. The weather forecast said it'll be sunny tomorrow, so don't worry.
Muku: But the last time, the forecast said it would be clear and it still rained....
Muku: Could it be... that I'm such a terrible ameotoko, that I actually gather all the rain clouds in the world to us...?2
Yuki: That would actually be pretty impressive, but you're overthinking it. There are still days where it doesn't rain.
Muku: Yeah, you're right. But I definitely want it to be sunny tomorrow, so when I get home I think I'll make some teru-teru bouzu.3
Yuki: That sounds good. I'll make some, too.
Muku: Really? Thank you, Yuki-kun!
Yuki: No problem. Why don't we get the others to help out as well?
Muku: Right, there was a time where everyone in the Summer Troupe made teru-teru bouzu together and we warded off a typhoon.4
Muku: If we get everyone involved, then tomorrow will be sunny.

Part 2
Kazunari: If ya want it to be nice and sunny, ya gotta make a teru-teru bouzu! Are we gonna make a huge one again~?
Muku: Ah, actually... there's a kind of teru-teru bouzu I want to try making.
Tenma: What kind?
Muku: I saw it before on social media. It's two teru-teru bouzu, with the face and decorations changed a bit so that they look like a bride and groom.
Muku: It looks like a wedding ceremony when you line them up next to each other, so it's really cute.
Yuki: It's perfect for tomorrow's wedding.
Misumi: It might be even more effective than a regular teru-teru bouzu!
Kazunari: If that's the case, why don't we separate the work into two teams, one to make the bride and one to make the groom?
Kumon: Okay! Get ready for the amidakuji to split into teams!5
Tenma: On the Bride Team is Muku, Kazunari, and Yuki. On the Groom Team is Misumi, Kumon, and me.
Kazunari: Now that we've been sorted, let's get to making the teru-teru bouzu! Start!
Kumon & Misumi: Yay!
Muku: Since it fits the theme, I want to give the bride teru-teru bouzu cute clothes to wear.
Yuki: If that's the case, I have some leftover lace and fabric in my room. We can use that to make a wedding dress.
Kazunari: And we can use my drawing tools to give Teru-teru-chan's face some super pretty makeup!
Muku: Wahh, it's gonna be so wonderful...! I can't wait to see the final result!
Tenma: A groom-like teru-teru bouzu, huh.... How should I express "groom-like"...?
Kumon: Someone big, cool, and reliable... you should make a teru-teru bouzu that's just like my nii-chan!
Tenma: Making a Juza-san-like teru-teru bouzu... the difficulty level feels way too high.
Tenma: And besides, wouldn't that make it a "Juza-san-like" teru-teru bouzu, and not a "groom-like" one?
Misumi: I think you should make a teru-teru bouzu that's big, cool, and reliable... and triangular!
Tenma: No, that's just a regular triangle, isn't it....
Misumi: All done~.
Yuki: We're finished as well.
Kumon: Ooh, why don't we all show our teru-teru bouzu on the count of three!
Kazunari: Okay! Ready? One, two... three!
Mukui & Kumon: Here!
Yuki: Huh, what's with that teru-teru bouzu.... The shape of the face is a triangle.
Tenma: It was Misumi's idea. What can ya do.
Misumi: Hehe, he's a cool Mr. Groom, isn't he? The bowtie is also triangular~.
Kumon: The teru-teru bouzu you guys made has a reeeaally pretty dress! Just like a real bride!
Muku: It's all thanks to Kazu-kun and Yuki-kun's hard work.
Kazunari: Mukkun drew the eyes so sparkly, it's super cute~.
Tenma: Alright, let's hang these in the window.
Muku: If you line them up like this....
Misumi: It's so wonderful, seeing the bride and the groom lined up together~!
Yuki: Yeah, looks like a proper wedding.
Kazunari: With this, tomorrow will definitely be a sparkly sunny day!
Muku: Hehe, I'll be happy if it's true.

Muku: ......
Izumi: Muku-kun?
Muku: Ah. Good morning, Director-san.
Izumi: Good morning. You're up pretty early today.
Muku: I am. I was worried about the weather, so I quickly woke up....
Izumi: Haha, I'm glad the weather turned out well. Could it be thanks to the teru-teru bouzu you all made?
Muku: Yes! I hope today will be a lovely wedding ceremony.
1 Presumably, this is referencing either a past event story or another card backstage. I don't know which, so if anyone does, please let me know. [↑]
2 An ameotoko is a man who brings rain with him wherever he goes. This is first mentioned in Muku's Rehearsal card backstage.
3 Teru-teru bouzu is a small doll charm that looks like a white ghost. People (particularly children) make them and hang them up in their windows to ward off rain and pray for clear weather. [↑]
4 Presumably, this is also referring to a past event story or card backstage. Again, if anyone recognizes it, please let me know. [↑]
5 A way of drawing lots, either for teams or for prizes or what not. It looks like a ladder maze, and you trace your way down the ladder to get your result. (If you watch East Asian variety shows, you’ve probably seen this method before. [↑]
