Announcement: "Thank you for coming to Fuyou Univeristy's acting group, Theater Club's play today."

Announcement: "Before the show begins, we have a few requests and guidelines for the guests."

Misumi: I get all excited when I look at the program before the show~.

Muku: It's the same feeling as seeing the trailers before a movie.

Misumi: Mhmm!

Muku: Ah, that person....

Misumi: The lead actor? Do you know him?

Muku: The other day, I saw him doing a street act. I didn't get to see his actual performance, but....

Misumi: I wonder what kind of performance he'll put on.

Muku: I can't wait! According to the summary, it looks like it'll be a comedy.

(curtain up SFX)

Muku: (I thought it'd be a comedy, but near the end it became suspenseful....)

Muku: (The lead actor's performance also suddenly changed from being comical to drawing you in.)

Young Man A: "You talk about my sins when he is also guilty of the same! Don't look away from the truth!"

Muku: ——.

Muku: Haa....

Muku: (I can't get that play out of my head. The lead actor is a first year, Madoka-kun said....)

Muku: (He's only one school grade above me, but the fact that he can put on that kind of performance is incredible.)

Muku: (Even though Madoka-kun said he and I have a similar vibe—)

Muku: (I can't perform in a way that grips people's hearts like that where they can't look away.)

Muku: ......

Muku: (Even at the audition I went to that Kasumi-san told me about before, the actor who passed was one whose performance remained in people's hearts.)

Muku: (Just like the lead actor from this performance....)

Muku: (Since then, I've gone to workshops wanting to step up my acting, but I can't become like that.)

Muku: (Maybe if I was able to perform with the people in Fuyou's acting group, I would be able to learn much more.)

Muku: ——.

Muku: (But I haven't prepared for Fuyou's exam at all. I wouldn't be able to take it.)

Muku: (Besides, I've already decided on public univeristy as my first choice....)

Kazunari: —Oh right, Mukkun, didn't you go to Fuyou's play with Sumi today? How was it?

Muku: ......

Muku: (And generally, changing my first choice school because of an acting group is too careless. University is for studying....)

Kazunari: Mukkun?

Muku: Huh? Oh, sorry.

Kazunari: How was the show you saw today?

Muku: —Oh, it was lots of fun. The lead actor's performance was great....

Muku: ......

Kazunari: ...?

Tutor: Alright, we'll continue from this module tomorrow, so please review it.

Muku: ......

Student A: Let's go home.

Student B: This last mock test was kinda crazy.

Tutor: Sakisaka-kun.

Muku: —Yes?

Tutor: You seem a little unfocused today, is everything okay?

Muku: Ah... sorry.

Tutor: You're at a very crucial point in time, so please make sure to review properly.

Muku: ...I understand.

(door close SFX)

Muku: (This is bad... I can't focus on studying at all. I can only think about that show.)

Muku: (There's not a lot of time left until the actual exam....)

Muku: Sigh....

Tsumugi: Welcome home, Muku-kun.

Muku: —Thanks.

Tsumugi: Look, the geraniums in the garden bloomed beautifully. The yellow ones are bright and summer-y.

Muku: Absolutely... kinda like the sun.

Tsumugi: By the way, I heard you went to see a Fuyou's acting group's play?

Muku: Oh, yes—I was invited because Misumi-san got tickets from Madoka-kun.

Muku: You might know the group, called "Theater Club"—.

Tsumugi: Really? That was the group Tasuku and I were in.

Tsumugi: We haven't been able to go to their plays for a while, but we've heard rumors that their member count has been dwindling and their survival is at risk...

Tsumugi: Masumi-kun has also appeared in one of their plays, so it's good that it seems they're still active. How was it?

Muku: It was really great. It seems like they're fired up because they've gotten more members recently.

Tsumugi: I see, that's good.... The Theater Club was the reason Tasuku and I chose Fuyou in the first place, so we were a bit worried.

Muku: Is that so?

Tsumugi: Fuyou has had lots of well-known acting groups since long ago. The Theater Club is one of them.

Tsumugi: When Tasuku and I were in high school, we went to see one of their off-campus plays and were surprised at how high-level they were.

Tsumugi: We felt their passion and sense for acting and thought that we could grow more as actors if we joined that group, so we decided on Fuyou.

Tsumugi: Tasuku didn't have the grades for Fuyou, but once he saw Theater Club's show it was like a switch flipped for him and he started studying like crazy.

Muku: (So seeing an acting group's play was the motivation for them... just like it is for me now.)

Tsumugi: We were so happy when we both got in together. We ignored all the recruitment attempts from other groups and beelined straight for Theater Club.

Tsumugi: We're used to it but now that I think about it, "Theater Club" is a pretty funny name the group.

Muku: ...What was it like after you got in?

Tsumugi: It was lots of fun. There were plenty of people who liked theater there, and we had lots of motivation.

Tsumugi: Even though we were more devoted to the group activities than our studies, it was so fulfilling. I'm glad we joined.

Tsumugi: Studying for exams right now is hard, but it'll be lots of fun once you get in, so do your best.

Muku: ......

Muku: (Tsumugi-san and Tasuku-san were also drawn in by the group activities, and picked their first choice because of it....)

Misumi: Hmm~ I'm gonna put this triangle in this triangle box.

Misumi: Oh, this book—.

Misumi: (This book on theater is difficult, so I haven't read it at all~. I'll try reading it a little bit at a time.)

(knocking SFX)

Misumi: Yees?

Tenma: We're coming in.

Kumon: We brought snacks~.

Yuki: What are you doing, cleaning?

Misumi: I'm rearranging my triangles~.

Tenma: The hell does that mean...?

Misumi: What's up?

Kazunari: Let's eat while we talk!

Misumi: Hm? Okay~.

Kumon: Come in, come in!

Misumi: Oh, the snacks are triangles!

Yuki: I saw them in an ad, so I bought them.

Misumi: Yay~.

Tenma: So, what are we talking about?

Kazunari: Mukkun hasn't been acting like himself recently~.

Yuki: ...And at school, I feel like his mind is somewhere else.

Kumon: You think he's tired from studying for exams?

Tenma: Well, that's probably it. He's taking more subjects too, so his exams are more stressful than ours were.

Misumi: I wanna do something to cheer him up!

Kazunari: Right?

Kumon: Alright, strategy meeting~!
